Maybe it was a byproduct of Canadiens fans' collective disappointment from Montreal authorities eschewing insanity and letting Zdeno Chara walk away from potential charges for last spring's decapitation of Max Pacioretty. I don't know. It's hard to tell if there's actually any Bruins fans involved in this fracas, but a doozy of a fan fight erupted in the stands at the Bell Centre on Monday night.
There's an unwritten rule in the live sporting event code of conduct: Never, ever, fight the person seated behind you. That added few inches of height can lead to a world of problems when it comes to throwing bombs. There's that and um, oh, don't act like a complete dickhead and fight someone in the stands.
