Cristiano Ronaldo could reach Real Madrid century against Villarreal

The Portugal international has a chance of reaching 100 goals in all competitions for the Santiago Bernabeu outfit if he finds the net twice against Juan Carlos Garrido's reports that Ronaldo has scored 98 goals in all competitions since his arrival from Manchester United in 2009.

It has taken the Portuguese 102 games, or 8,634 minutes of football to reach the 98-goal mark and a brace against Villarreal will see him hit 100.

Ronaldo has scored 76 in La Liga - seven less than the great Brazilian forward Ronaldo who hit 83 during his time at the Spanish club.

The 26-year-old has netted 14 times in the Champions League, and there have been seven goals in the Copa del Rey and one in the Supercopa. His goals per game ratio is 0.96.

Ronaldo's feat is astonishing compared to his time at Manchester United. It took him 253 games to reach his century at Old Trafford.

Kick-off against Villarreal is at 21:00 GMT and do not forget you can follow the game with us on our LIVE commentary page to see if Ronaldo breaks another record.
